Advanced Course in Digital Preservation
Building the end of the school, but still not the holidays, this whole week I'm at the University of Glasgow, attending the Digital Preservation Advanced Practitioner Course. This intensive five-day course is organized by the Digital Preservation Coalition, APARSEN, EUDAT, IMPACT, and TIMBUS SCAPE.
With funding from the FP7 program is extremely affordable, if not free, considering the amount of subject matter experts, professionals from different institutions and projects involved, and the diversity of views ranging us provide digital preservation. And over the course includes accommodation in one of the most modern hotels in Glasgow, CitizenM.
I hope to learn a lot and apply everything possible in the course of Digitization and Preservation Master in Library and Information Services, as well as curatore-E and upcoming projects with TECNODOC group.
